Safe Use Guidelines
- Use shoulder eye nuts for vertical or angled loading — never use plain (shoulder-less) eye nuts for angled loads
- Orientate the eye nut in line with the sling direction
- Pack washers between shoulder and load surface to ensure full contact
- Ensure at least 90% of threads are engaged when using shims or washers
- Attach only one sling leg per eye nut
- Install shoulder at right angles to the axis of the hole, in full contact with the lifting surface
- Inspect and clean threads before each use
