Safe Use Guidelines
- Use shoulder eye bolts for vertical or angled loading — never use plain (shoulder-less) eye bolts for angled loads
- Orientate the eye bolt in line with the sling direction
- Pack washers between shoulder and load surface to ensure full contact
- Ensure nut is properly torqued and at least 90% of threads are engaged
- Attach only one sling leg per eye bolt
- Install shoulder at right angles to the axis of the hole, in full contact with the lifting surface
- Inspect and clean threads before each use
