Bright drawn mild steel offers a smooth, accurate finish straight from the bar, making it ideal for machining shafts, pins, studs, and general turned components without the need for extensive surface preparation. The 25mm diameter is one of the most commonly used metric sizes in engineering workshops, fitting standard collets and chucks with minimal setup. EN3B is a low-carbon steel grade offering good machinability, weldability, and ductility — suitable for a wide range of structural and mechanical applications.
