A 12mm diameter black HDPE round rod cut to 300mm long, supplied to Grade A PE 500 specification. At 12mm across this is a compact, lightweight billet well suited to turning small bushings, spacers, pins, and guide rollers on a lathe or CNC machine. The black colour is achieved with carbon black pigment, which also provides enhanced UV resistance compared to natural white HDPE — making it a good choice for outdoor or exposed applications. PE 500 HDPE combines excellent toughness with a low coefficient of friction, running smoothly against steel without lubrication. Resistant to moisture, oils, acids, alkalis, and a wide range of industrial cleaning chemicals. Halogen-free and easy to machine with standard tooling.
